Benjamin Dushime is obsessed with numbers and data in the best way possible. With several years of experience in finance and accounting, he has built a strong foundation in reconciliations, reporting, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis. He’s worked across higher education and logistics, supporting everything from budgeting and forecasting to ensuring financial records are accurate, compliant, and useful for decision-making.
Benjamin is QuickBooks Online Certified, Google Certified in Data Analytics, and holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from William & Mary’s School of Business. His background blends traditional accounting practices with advanced analytics, giving him the ability to dig into the details while also seeing the bigger financial picture. He takes pride in creating clarity from complexity, whether that’s reconciling accounts, building financial models, or streamlining reporting processes.
What sets Benjamin apart is his mix of precision and curiosity. He lived, studied, and worked in China for five years, becoming fluent in Mandarin and gaining international business experience. He approaches bookkeeping and finance with the same mindset he brings to data analysis: ask good questions, look closer, and always find the story the numbers are trying to tell.
When he’s not knee-deep in spreadsheets, Benjamin is probably working on personal data projects that he publishes on his website (for fun; yes, really), kayaking, or planning his life with a husky he hopes to adopt soon. He believes learning never stops and that numbers never lie.
